We are located in the heart of the Oildale area. We have security cameras within our facility and locks on all our doors.
How many nights can I stay?
You can stay in the shelter for 10 nights per month. Check-in starts at 5 pm and check-out is 7:30 am the next morning.

Shelter Testimonies
Lakisha W. called on day eight to reserve another night at our shelter when she said she didn’t call to reserve, but that she called only to thank us. She said, “I don’t need a reservation but I want to say thank you to all of your staff for their help and kindness. I just want you to know that I am OK. I have been accepted into a long-term shelter at Mercy House for victims of domestic abuse. I will come back to KTH if I ever need a night of peace.”
Yavonne S. was our 2nd shelter guest to call us back just to say thank you. She said, “I just called to say thank you to all of you and Pastor Kevin. I really appreciated your help and all the love of the girls. It was starting to feel like home there.”
Pregnancy Housing
in partnership with BAKERSFIELD pregnancy center we have 2 beds reserved in our transitional living program for women who are pregnant and have no where to go
